While the previous tutorial I showed you included a dark lip, it was not the classic red black shade and we all know I can’t get very far in that department without mentioning the Chanel Rouge Noir. Now, I hope you’re all aware that Chanel is launching a Rouge Noir Absolument collection which reminds me why I fell for Chanel makeup in the first place but before I get my hands on that, it’s the lipstick for now.
I don’t switch up my face products all too often so you can guess I’m using Chanel Perfection Lumière Velvet in B10, then applying Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer in Fair Neutral under my eyes and on all areas of discolouration, lastly I’m setting it all with Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Diffused Light. I actually prefer this foundation with the Hourglass powder as opposed to my Charlotte Tilbury one as it adds a bit of luminousity to the otherwise matte finish. Blush is Nars Sin yet again so I’m getting a subtle berry flush on my cheeks.
Gold eye and dark lip are a classic combination but it looks absolutely terrible on me so I’m using copper instead. Because for some reason I was going for a high-impact look, I pressed the Urban Decay Trick from the Naked 3 palette onto my eyelid with my finger. The rich pigment and metallic finish you get that way is non-comparable to brush application. I also ran a bit of Bobbi Brown Eyeshadow in Camel in the socket and on the lower lashline just for some definition. Then I finished it off with Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof in Ardent on my waterline and Benefit They’re Real in Beyond Brown on top lashes (although I’ve only had mine for two months and it’s so dry I can barely apply any so I’m just waiting for Chanel Le Volume in Rouge Noir to launch).
Vampy lipsticks are that one time when it’s always the better idea to use a lip liner. Especially if you’re using a non-matte formula. The lipstick in question is Chanel Rouge Allure in Rouge Noir and they have a sort of satin finish so just to make the application easier, I line my lips first using Catrice Lip Pencil in Berryson Ford. Additionally that one is more berry toned and lighter than otherwise uber vampy Rouge Noir so it does make it more wearable if like me, you exclusively pull off these looks during daytime.
What is your go-to autumn look? Do you rock a vampy lip or a smokey eye?
I love your hair so much! Xx
Love the eyes! I’ve never been very experimental with eye shadow but I recently got a palette and now I’m obsessed- need to try the one you’re wearing!! Xo

What palette did you get? Eyeshadows must be my favourite part of makeup. To be honest, I wouldn’t recommend the Naked 3, I personally have my eyes on Lorac Unzipped but it’s hard to get in the UK. X
That lip colour is beautiful! xo
Looks great on you! I love vampy lips for this time of year 🙂
Beautiful look! x
