I do have a tendency to ramble on and I have previously talked about a few of these products so for the purpose of keeping it shorter, I am simply going to rank this and provide a few reasonings behind my decision without going too much into detail about the finishes and undertones of all these.
Before I begin, let me note that I have very fair skin with yellow undertones which eliminates a lot of the most popular bronzers on the market for me. Continue reading “Ranking All My Bronzers”
I have recently passed on some of the products I wasn’t enjoying in my collection, namely any blusher that didn’t fall into the neutral blush category, and I quickly realised that while I can be very picky with makeup, blusher is the one category where I’m on top of my game. I currently have seven blushers in my collection, desperately eyeing up their dupes on Temptalia, but I figured I’d go through each every one of them and explain why they didn’t get tossed the way the Hourglass Mood Exposure infamously did. Going through all of these, I pretty much realised I need a nude with a fair amount of pink to show up my warmer skin but colours like Mood Exposure have just a little bit too much pink and not enough nude. It’s been over a month since I officially committed to my first Project Pan and I’ve already got things to report. I’ve learnt that I am impatient after all but also rediscovered some product loves. Seeing I have finished or decided to declutter some of the products, I figured an update was due. At this point, I frequently ponder how much of the makeup I own I will actually be able to use up and how much of it will go to waste. While I have recently added new products to my line up and there is definitely a few cheek products that I still find tempting, giving away some of the products I wasn’t using recently combined with my new habit of watching Project Pan updates while I get ready in the morning, I figured a blog post would a great way to document my own progress. Admittedly, I haven’t really looked into the rules of the project if there are any but I will run you through the goals I am setting for myself and what my current progress is. In all honesty, my YouTube subscription box has exploded with festive makeup looks and they’re all either red lip gold eye or black smokey eye so this feels sort of repetitive but it does have a bit of a twist on the classic because a) I hate gold eyeshadows b) I hate bright red lipsticks on me. Oh, so much negativity but I do love a muted red. Continue reading “Winter Red Lip Look”
