Rolling Project Pan Update #2

To be completely honest, I have frequent mood swings in regards to this project and frankly, I just wish you’d see progress on powder products quicker but looking back at the three months of formal project panning, I definitely played with makeup more than I have for a while. Some discoveries have been made in that I’ve been quite successful panning lipsticks and pencil products, don’t mind using the same eyeshadow despite minimal progress but struggle quite a bit with face products so I will probably keep those to a minimum from now on (says while she rolls in a baked blush). Best Neutral Blushers Feat. Kevyn Aucoin, Nars and More

I have recently passed on some of the products I wasn’t enjoying in my collection, namely any blusher that didn’t fall into the neutral blush category, and I quickly realised that while I can be very picky with makeup, blusher is the one category where I’m on top of my game. I currently have seven blushers in my collection, desperately eyeing up their dupes on Temptalia, but I figured I’d go through each every one of them and explain why they didn’t get tossed the way the Hourglass Mood Exposure infamously did. Seeing I have finished or decided to declutter some of the products, I figured an update was due. Not entirely sure if rolling out a majority of the products is a good start but I suppose it’s my inexperience with project panning that made me pick products that weren’t necessarily feasible for me to use up and at least enjoy using. Project Pan Introduction Feat. Nars, Hourglass and More

At this point, I frequently ponder how much of the makeup I own I will actually be able to use up and how much of it will go to waste. While I have recently added new products to my line up and there is definitely a few cheek products that I still find tempting, giving away some of the products I wasn’t using recently combined with my new habit of watching Project Pan updates while I get ready in the morning, I figured a blog post would a great way to document my own progress. Admittedly, I haven’t really looked into the rules of the project if there are any but I will run you through the goals I am setting for myself and what my current progress is.
