This update is definitely long overdue (#3 was published on Mar 31st) and I think I reached a point with this project when I’m not as excited as I was at the beginning. To be fair, in order to see progress on some of the products, I’ve neglected others and even then, it’s taken me longer to get there than I initially thought. I’ve not been too good focusing on some of the products and the prospects of adding in extra just doesn’t appeal to me so I’m rolling in less than I’m rolling out. I do have a tendency to ramble on and I have previously talked about a few of these products so for the purpose of keeping it shorter, I am simply going to rank this and provide a few reasonings behind my decision without going too much into detail about the finishes and undertones of all these.

I’ve had this blog post idea lurking in the shadows for quite some time now and I kept putting it off because I recently added a number of Japanese made makeup brushes into my collection and while many of them have replaced my previous favourites, a lot of them were also quite a similar shape and I wanted to get a better feel of them before I labelled any of them as a favourite. In my last update I was fairly certain, I won’t have much progress for a while but actually quite happy with what I’ve reached my goal on. Mainly because since starting this project in November, I’ve finally began to see progress on some of my powder products. Today I’m rolling in a few of my forgotten favourites and am definitely excited for a bit of a change in my everyday makeup routine. Continue reading “Rolling Project Pan Update #3”
There is something thrilling about signature looks and these are the key pieces of my makeup closet. I keep coming back to them and they have all been well used. Once upon a time this list would have been the filled with the likes of Chanel makeup but frankly I’ve not bought anything from the brand for years and all the products I have and like were limited edition. On the same note, the little makeup I’ve bought in the last year or so has been mostly Nars hence the majority of these but still these are all products I have repurchased and desperately trying, have failed to find shades and formulas that can compete with them. The lack of face products on this list simply proves that I am yet to find a product that both matches me and looks seamless on the skin. Continue reading “7 Irreplaceable Makeup Products”
